Southern Serengeti photo safari

Tanzania is one of my favorite places to visit in the whole world, and I’m really looking forward to exploring the country and helping you capture photographs of a lifetime!

This classic Tanzanian safari has been created so that we can view wildlife in the various eco-systems of several of Tanzania’s National Parks. We will stay at comfortable, well-situated lodges chosen for their excellent locations and organized in a manner to maximize our game viewing time and minimize our transfer times from park to park. All meals are also included.

Tanzania is home to 'The Big Five,' Game Animals: lions, African elephants, African buffalo, leopards and rhinos. It's a must-see for any African explorer. The safari also provides some cultural opportunities that I found to be wonderful on my previous trips, including a look at how people live and celebrate life in different areas of the country.

DAY 10: Feb 6,2025
Central Serengeti – Ngorongor Crater- Karatu

You will take a packed breakfast for an early start to driving to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Today will be a long day; you will arrive in Ngorongoro around 10ish and start your game drive!
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers (5200 square miles). The crater was formed over 2.5 million years ago after violent volcanic activities. The volcano eventually collapsed to form a huge depression known as a crater, though technically it is a caldera due to the type of formation and the size of the area. Wildlife diversity is wonderful in the crater, and it is one of the very few places left in the world where black rhinoceros thrive.
We will break for lunch when you are ready. After lunch, continue with a game drive till 4ish before driving out of the crater to Karatu. Sighting of rhinos in the dry season is quite challenging because their favorite pasture is dry and short; usually, the rainy season is the best time to see them as they wander more widely because of abundant food almost everywhere.
Overnight – Baghayo garden suites.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided & unlimited drinking water in the car

Day 11: Feb 7, 2025
Karatu- Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast on this last day of your trip, you will be driven to Kilimanjaro international airport for your scheduled flight back home. You will have time for shopping if interested in Arusha as well as a hot lunch at The Blue Heron Restaurant

Breakfast & lunch provided.
