I was really happy when Ron Wyatt offered (at no additional charge), pre-trip lessons. He provided me tips on back button focus, shooting in aperture and shutter priority mode. Ron wanted everyone to be able to take good pictures during the trip, so he met with me a few times to ensure my comfort with the camera. My wife was also able to garner tips from his vast knowledge of photography. All aspects of the trip went smoothly and my wife and I are considering another trip with Ron Wyatt Photo Adventures.
