Dates are August 14-25, 2025 including travel days. Actual "safari" days are August 15-25
Basic itinerary is:
August 14 - Depart USA on international flights to JRO (Kilimanjaro)
August 15 - Upon arrival and after clearance with the customs authorities you will be met by my representative and be transferred to your hotel overnight. Dinner and over night stay at The African Tulip Hotel
August 16-17 - 2 nights in Tarangire NP - The tour starts with pick up early in the morning from The African Tulip, with lunch boxes we depart for Tarangire arriving early enough for a game drive, then a lunch break. After that we will embark on an afternoon game-drive till evening. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants” and you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons! Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Ndovu Camp. Each day will have game drives looking for the wildlife.
August 18 - We'll drive to our camp in the central Serengeti National Park while doing game drive along the way. We descend into the heart of wild Africa with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We arrive in camp in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at Elwai Camp.
August 19-22 - We'll drive to the northern Serengeti for 4 nights as we anticipate migration crossings. We'll spend these days chasing crossings and all the other fantastic wildlife of the Kogatende area. Our home here is the Baobab Mara Luxury Camp. We'll have game drives each morning and afternoon while here.
August 23 - We'll drive back to the central Serengeti - game driving along the way and spend the night at Elwai Camp.
August 24 - Today we'll drive to Karatu where we'll stay at the Acacia Farm Lodge. We'll enjoy some local cultural visits in the area.
August 25 - Today we drive back to Arusha and have day rooms at the Airport Planet Lodge before our flights home.

Join us to see the light stations of the mid-coast Maine including Monhegan Light! Jeremy D’Entremont, author and lighthouse historian for the U.S. Lighthouse Society and Bob Trapani Jr., author and Director of the American Lighthouse will talk about the rich history of each lighthouse as well as their experiences visiting and working to maintain the light stations. Zack Klyver, with over 30 years of experience guiding Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company boat cruises, will be the host and will identify and describe the wildlife and natural and human history of the coast and Gulf of Maine. Mike Leonard, from Photo Tourism by Mike will be our Tour photographer and be there to share lenses and make sure you take your “best shot”.
During the cruise there will be many opportunities to take incredible photographs of lighthouses, coastal scenery, wildlife, Vinalhaven Harbor, and the islands of the Maine coast.

In that case we will visit Pumpkin Island, Eagle Island, Curtis island, Indian Island and the Rockland Breakwater instead of Monhegan Island, Marshal point, Two Bush, Tenants Harbor.
